How to read your Sunsynk app

The Sunsynk app shows a lot of numbers. Here's what the important ones mean for an ordinary home.

The power flow screen

You'll see four parts: solar (PV), battery, grid and load. Arrows show which way power is flowing right now, in watts (W) or kilowatts (kW).

  • PV: what your panels are producing right now.
  • Battery: positive usually means charging, negative means discharging (this can differ by version).
  • Grid: power you are buying from (or selling to) the grid.
  • Load: what your home is using.

Daily totals

Daily PV energy in kWh is the best number to compare with our health check. Note it at the end of a sunny day.

Alarms and fault codes

Fault codes appear as F-numbers, such as F13 or F35. Sunsynk inverters use the same F-codes as Deye, so our Sunsynk fault pages explain each one in plain language.

Solar systems carry dangerous voltages. Only do the safe checks listed. If unsure, call a pro.

Common questions

Why does my app say 0 W solar during the day?
Check the Wi-Fi dongle is online first. If it is, look for a fault code, heavy cloud, or shading.
Can I change settings in the app?
Simple settings yes, but leave battery and grid protection settings to your installer.
